On June 10th, the final day of the program, all nine startups gave a presentation of their product and company. Their pitch was judged by a professional and an audience jury.
The first consisted of Mark Lazeroms, Director of Engineering of Medtronic Netherlands, Charity Kufaas, Vice President Business Development and Strategy EMEA of Medtronic, Sven de Cleyn, Program Director of imec.istart and Tys van Elk, Managing Director of LIOF.
The jury describes Suturion as a company with experience in the field already. Knowing the unmet need that there solving very well and heaving a promising solution for that. It is a very strong public winner.
The MedLim startup program accelerates start-ups that want to bring a new medical device and/or technology to the global market. The MedLim program has been initiated by Medtronic and LIOF, together with the expertise centers Brightlands Maastricht Health Campus, Medace, and imec.istart. MedLim provides unique and profound experience and knowledge to help startups.
