The first patient was included in end of Janury 2023 and a total of thirty eight (38) patients will be included to complete the clinical trial. The primary objective of the study is to evaluate the clinical performance of Suture TOOL for abdominal wall closure in men and women undergoing open abdominal surgery (laparotomy), in terms of the proportion of patients with an SL/WL ratio ≥ 4.
